Symptoms of UTI

The most common symptom is the urgent need to urinate, accompanied by a burning sensation when the urine is actually passed. Most often very little urine is released and it is usually cloudy or contains some blood. Another common symptom is the need to urinate often – more than 6 to 8 times a day.

In the case of a kidney infection, one will also generally feel back aches, fever, nausea, vomiting and chills.
